Pull the Cork is an intimate evening of wine and giving, featuring renowned vintner Institution Winery. A selection from their award-winning portfolio, crafted by winemaker Russell Bevan, will be poured with Institution’s owner, Josh Peeples educating guests on all aspects of the wine. The tasting will be artfully paired with a four-course menu by Chef Drew Tait at The Forest Country Club.

Pull the Cork offers two guest experiences: An exclusive VIP wine tasting with additional boutique wine samplings, followed by the champagne reception and four-course wine dinner (limited to 60 guests); or the pre-dinner champagne reception followed by the four-course wine dinner. See below.

Kick off this wine-filled soiree with an exclusive VIP event reserved for only 60 guests. Sample boutique wines from the evening’s featured vintner, Institution Winery. Enjoy charcuterie and a special presentation from Institution’s owner, Josh Peeples. Pull the Cork’s VIP Experience includes admission to the full, four-course wine dinner, tasting and auction.

A reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres will be followed by a four-course seated dinner, wine tasting and auction. Sip and savor exquisite wines from Institution’s award-winning portfolio, crafted by winemaker Russell Bevan. Institution’s owner, Josh Peeples, will be educating guests on all aspects of the wine. The tasting will be artfully paired with a four-course menu by Chef Drew Tait at The Forest Country Club. The evening features the best of the best, bringing together boutique wine and gourmet food to create the ultimate wine-filled experience.

B. Wise is a wine project that brings together the best that Sonoma and Napa vineyards have to offer. B. Wise Vineyards sits on top of a ridge that looks down over the Sonoma Valley. They have brough together winemaking expertise that allow them to take the best advantage of their extraordinary vineyard sites. In 2002, they began working with Massimo Monticelli, who came to them from Silver Oak. Mark Herold brings depth their Napa Cabernet Sauvignon portfolio from his pioneering oenology work for Joseph Phelps and his own successful Merus Cabernet. Rounding out the Pinot Noir portfolio, B. Wise Vineyards include an offering from the classic region for that grape, the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Drew Voit, former winemaker for Shea Vineyards in Oregon, works with Massimo on their Pinot Noirs.

Lee BIA Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (Lee BIA). The mission of Lee BIA Builders Care is to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means. Lee BIA Builders Care offers a full range of emergency construction services to improve the safety and health for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This is accomplished by enlisting the expertise and donated services and material of Lee BIA Members, contractors, sub-contractors and businesses. To date, Lee BIA Builders Care has provided $4.8 million in construction services at no cost to local homeowners in need.
